Use a Reset Word After Every Mistake
The Situation
You make an unforced error and the mistake stays in your head for the next 2โ3 points.
What To Do
Choose one reset word โ 'next', 'vamos', or 'reset' โ and say it immediately after any mistake. Out loud or in your head. Then move on completely.
Why It Works
Padel Rules coaching specifically identifies quick mental resets as a core skill: saying a phrase like 'next point' reminds you to refocus and prevents one mistake becoming three. The word acts as a mental interrupt โ it breaks the rumination cycle before it starts.
